Meet Amy Nicole
Yoga Dance Instructor, Self-Care Coach, & Former Homeschool Mom
I had always believed that dance was supposed to be part of my life plan. But, in 2014, that all changed when I closed my studio doors and fully began focusing on homeschooling my son.
My home education journey began in December 2003 when my son was only 9th months old. From a simple art project, I never would have imagined that I would have taken on this task.
But, 18 years later, I stood on the stage at my son’s graduation and physically handed him his diploma. I am proud to say that he went to an academic college, was offered the opportunity to receive a full-ride scholarship, and was nominated by his college to become a member of their local honor society chapter.
His most recent accomplishment was being put on the Dean’s List. Yay for homeschooling! As a homeschool mom, I take great pride in these achievements, knowing our time together helped impact his college performance.
Spending almost every day with this kid was the best 18 years I have ever spent. I couldn’t be happier for him and even more proud of myself. I am a lucky mom to have had that opportunity. But there was more to me than being a wife and a mom.
I desired to become the best version of myself.
Between 2014 and 2021, I began a search to find out what I was meant to do. It was like a light switch was turned off when I closed the studio, and dance didn’t seem to have the same kind of sparkle it once had.
So, that is how I began my dark night of the soul.
I had nothing to ground me and help me to realize my purpose. This was when I was led to the path of all things energetic—Reiki, Feng Shui, energy healing, EFT, and especially yoga.
Yoga changed it all…
After receiving my 200 hr RYT certification in 2019, I became a big advocate of yoga’s positive effects on a person. I had a whole mind-body transformation from getting my first tattoo (and then three more) to finding my inner Goddess and amazingly feeling confident enough to get a boudoir photo shoot commemorating my 50th birthday. I’m so grateful for this modality’s impact on me. I’m driven to share what I’ve been learning with the world! The body yoga created is evident in the picture next to this text.
In addition, my knowledge has allowed me to share what I know with my mom, who began experiencing significant health issues in 2018. I’m now a self-care advocate and a BIG believer that we must love ourselves enough to take the time needed to care for ourselves. I can’t wait to be a shining light in your world too.

Q & A
Q: DO I NEED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE to take classes?
A: You don't need any experience at all. All you need is a space, a yoga mat, a blanket, and a couple of pillows may be required, dependent on your movement needs. Water is also encouraged. Also, please clean your space of excess clutter and ensure your whole body can be seen through the computer camera.
Q: How do I gain access to my classes?
A: All sessions will occur online via zoom. This is where you will receive your zoom link to access it. A Notification message will be sent to your inbox confirming your time 24 hours before your session.
Q: How many people will be in the class with me?
A: To build confidence, each client will have their first session 1-1. Afterward, class size will be between 5-7 to attain a more personable yoga environment.
